Hi papac and welcome to HDF from the UK. You may find the Clymer leaves questions unanswered, as they are very general, so if you do get stuck buy a genuine factory service manual from your local dealer. The factory parts book is also very helpful, as it gives exploded diagrams for every tiny part of your bike, plus part numbers. Both books are still available, although your dealer may have to order them for you, if they don't have them in stock. Call into the Classic Ironhead section, where you will find fellow owners.
