I just purchased a 1986 flhtc. Bike is in good mechanical condition but looks like hell. Been parked outside in the weather for years. I'm collecting some dress up parts and was wondering what year outer primary covers fit this setup. Thanks, Ken

 

Your cover is currently #60605-85 or #60664-85B (chrome). The chaincase was changed in 1994, so from 1985 up to and including 1993.

 

The inner primary cover changed for the `89 model year also, when the modern starter configuration came out.
