used pipe dope ,pipe tape,silicone ,still drips !!,any suggestions

 

Pipe tape. 2 wraps and a new O-ring. Torque to spec.

 

If it still leaks the threads in the primary are stretched and need to be addressed.

 

Feel the back of the primary and see if it is coming out of the tranny main shaft. My guess is that it is.

nope ,its the drain plug

 

It should be 1/2-20 straight thread that normally gets Teflon and an o ring. If its tapered pipe thread then no oring.

 

FWIW I had to Heli-Coil mine as I over tightened it. Its better than stock now.
