Nascar Talladega Event

The last two fall races that we went to, wife and I stayed in Alexander City (about an hour South of track) in a B&B. Nice two lane ride and you're not stuck in traffic that's all going the other way. If you tailgate after the race and wait for most of the traffic to leave, it's pretty easy to get outta there.
Of course, there's always the free camping. Better bring ear plugs though.

Thanks for replies everybody. Now, I'm looking at their parking map and cannot figure out where the heck is the MC parking.

I would like to know where I'm going.
I booked a motel in Leeds for less than $130, best deal I could find ...

If you're not very picky about your accomdations you could get a room in Anniston for around $50 at the American Inn. I've stayed there quite a few times with no problems but of course I've always been pretty inebreated. There's a gas station across the street and an American Legion just down the road about 1/2 mile. you can park right outside room also which is always a + for me. Hell, you could pull the bike inside the room if ya want.
