Default Colorado 2015

Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain National Park

I have never seen curves like those.

It got cold a time or two.

Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.

Ouray Area - We rented a jeep and road the mountain trails. We had a blast. We crossed over three mountain passes.

Arches National Park.

Arches National Park.

Durango to Silverton Train. This was a nice ride. We really enjoyed the trip.

Dennis Weaver Park

And the road goes on and on.

A friend and I just got back from a two week trip to Colorado. We saw some beautiful country and had a blast. We did two nights in Estes Park, two nights in Buena Vista, two nights in Ouray, one night in Moab, and three nights in Durango.

We just finished a 7 day HD Forums trip that encompassed all the 10,000 Paved passes in Colorado plus Mt. Evans and Pikes Peak, and included Rocky Mountain National Park. The scenery is great and the roads are second to none, be it the "Tail of the Dragon" or the great roads motorcycle roads in Arkansas.

Awesome trip pix. I have lived here since '89 and have not been on some of those roads. Shameful. Love the Ouray area. We used to ride our dirt bikes up there.

That first pic is absolutely awesome. The rest are good, but that first one just says it all. Our ride this summer was to Colorado as well. Loved it up there. I think you could go to Colorado every year and never get tired of it. I have the same pic as you at Independence pass. Our bikes were on the exact spot. Our trip was from July 2-July11. when were ya'll there?

We left MS on the 8th and got back home on the 22nd (last Saturday). Bill, I followed your post on the Green Chile Ride. I will have to count the passes we crossed. The day we left Estes and rode to Buena Vista, we crossed five mountain passes.
