A coment on the tires. They are Michelin Commander ll's. They had 60 miles on them when I got the bike, so where basically brand new. As I said I put almost 19,500 miles on them. I was not worried about the rain on the last few days. I was worried if the tires would still stick with that many miles on them. Even in the driving rain, they stuck like they where still new. I am very much impressed with them and will be replacing them with new ones.

Here they are today.

The Front tire still has life in it ....

... as does the back. I would not be afraid to go out for another 1,000 or so mile trip on it.

I will be taking her into the shop for an oil change, and then parking her the middle of next week as I am moving at the end of the month, and there is no place for her at the new place. I will be storing her at work in a heated room so I can do a good cleaning and any other work I come up with over the winter.

Its been a great summer, and thanks for tagging along, on Darla's and my journey.

I am toying with the idea of a TransCanada run in May.

Nice garages!! Mine has underslab heat, which is very nice. Cleaning it up and making room for my wife's car.
I was going to put the toys to bed, but the forecast is for +9 for the next 3 days. Just might have to wait.

As you saw in my previous picture, Darla will be at work indoors for the winter. I had a carport at my previous place, but even there I couldn't work on the bike this winter. So I just moved 20 miles up the road and rented a ski-in/ski-out condo and there isn't even covered parking up here. But; the weather is holding out for the next 10 days or so; so I am riding the HD up and back for a bit .....

Covered up in case it rains.
