I'm doing a three day, four national park ride starting tomorrow. I'll be starting from San Francisco. First stop, Pinnacles National Park (east entrance) and then spending the night in Visalia. Monday will be Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Then a night in Mariposa, California and on Tuesday I hit Yosemite. Then back to San Francisco.

I have 5-1/2 days off, Friday at noon and back to work on Thursday. I haven't decided where yet, but I am coming out of Kansas City, so I am going to wait for the weather forecasts and pick a direction. If all else fails, 700 miles to visit family in Ohio.

I just got back home from a 4,000 mile, 17 day 14 state trip. All I want to do on Memorial Day is fire up the grill, kick back, and relax!

in the same boat. Initial plan was to leave Chicago friday and get to des moines , IA. Head down to KC for the weekend Saturday.
NOW, it looks like the entire Midwest is going to get rain this weekend, which has me second guessing my entire trip.

I'm on the road now. Today I visited Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

Below are a few pics. This is the Sierra at its finest.
