I am planning on attending the Little Sturgis rally in Sturgis KY, Anyone else form hear Going? I have been to this rally several times but never really explored the area, Does any one have any suggestions for area attractions or good rides for during the day? One place I am looking at maybe riding to is Cave-in-Rock IL, anyone been there? looks like it is not far from sturgis out 60 to KY91 anyone know a better way to get there?

 

i've been once with no real desire to go back. I'm about an hour west of Sturgis in Paducah. The river roads from the ferry to Cave-in-rock back to Smithland are a pretty fun ride and heading through LivCo to the lake area are good roads. heading over into IL, you can run up IL-1 and go to garden of the gods, it's a pretty cool rock formation. Always big events in Old Shawneetown IL at Hog Daddys Saloon during the rally
