Default AZ/NM Bike Trip - Recap

Just wanted to post a brief recap of this years (5/1912- 5/24/12) trip, and say thanks to everyone who helped by providing their input and suggestions.

Some highlights for me were; Mt Lemmon, Coronado Trail (Devils Highway), El Malpais National Monument, and Route 60 from Show Low to Phoenix.

I've posted a link to the map of the route we took, links to a lot of videos (we still need to make a 10 minute compilation), and a few pics.

You were in my neck of the woods. Coronado Trail is my favorite ride in AZ! Glad you enjoyed your trip out west.

Recognize the first turn there where the National Forrest sign is on the way up Mt. Lemmon (I make that ride at least once a week in the summer) and the entrance to the Longhorn in Tombstone. Steve G. owns that and Big Nose Kate's along with the Harley T-shirt shop.

Now you're making me envious. I love riding your part of the country. Mt. Lemmon is a great ride.

We ate at Big Nose Kate's and Steve bought us drinks and hung with us. He's an old NY'er and has a lot of good stories.

Coronado Trail is an awesome road. I've been fortunate to have ridden many amazing roads,ie Million Dollar Hwy, Tail of the Dragon, BRP, etc ... but I'd put the Coronado at the top of my list.

Thank you bigdaddy33. I rode the Trail a couple of years ago and it was fun watching your video and reliving my ride.
