World Biker : motorcycle riding and bike cultures in US
Hello,
My name is Aurelie and I am working for a french production company Gedeon Programmes.
We are currently preparing a series of three documentaries of 52 minutes called '"World Biker" in which Laurie, a confirmed biker, will ride vintage motorcylces across 3 countries (Russia, USA and India), discovering the culture and meeting people. There will be one documentary for each country. In USA... 66 Road, open spaces and ... Harley Davidson! We hope that Laurie could riding this travel with a Road King...
The shooting of this film in USA is scheduled for October 29 to November 12 of this year, and our shooting crew will be composed of Laurie Bernard, our biker and Frederic Reau, the director of the documentary.
The purpose of this project is to transcribe the way of life of the bikers in the USA and to meet people during this road-trip. And I was wondering if you could help me in my research? Laurie would like to meet bikers during her road-trip, have a lunch with few or a dinner/party, ride a bike in the area or in the city, … and discovering parallels roads and beautiful landscapes.
You will please find a program of the road trip:
- 29 october : arrive in USA (Chicago)
- 30 october : Milwaukee
- 31 october : Milwaukee
- 1st november : Madison
- 2 november : Madison
- 3 november : road until Sioux City
- 4 november : Sioux City
- 5 november : the edges of the Mississipi
- 6 november : Kansas City
- 7 november : Kansas City
- 8 november : Missouri's roads + stop in the Elbow Inn Bar and Bar-B-Q
- 9 november : Saint Louis + stop at the "Filling station"
- 10 november : Springfield (Illinois)
- 11 november : Chicago
- 12 november : Chicago back to France
