Default Leaving for Cross Country Trip 5/8

I can't believe the time is almost here. I started a thread, "Cross Country Trip this Summer" around Thanksgiving, made plans changed plans... Now the time is actually here to shove off. This is monumental for me. I'm excited and anxious at the same time. Can't wait to go. We're starting from Plum Island, a beach in NE Mass and headed to San Francisco. We'll be hitting lots of national parks along the way. The bike is packed and ready to go...sitting in the garage waiting for me. I did take a run with bike full loaded to see how it would handle and it fared well. Not sure if the pics uploaded in this post...they show the packed FLHTK. Wish me luck!

Hope the snow in the midwest melts before you ride through there!

Thanks Dangermouse, I'll keep that in mind. Hopefully, you won't be hearing from me.

mcw999, as long as its not actively snowing & the roads are snow-free, that's fine. We're using Weatherspark as our guide. A good weather source.
