Default Update on snow in Colorado

Leaving California in two days going to Grand Canyon, southern Utah and then going down route 67 to route 92 to route 50 to Salida then over to Royal Gorge and pikes peak. Wondering about the snow. Is it just in the high elevations like Mt Evans and Pikes Peak or will it be other places also? Appreciate any info you can. Give me.

We're supposed to get "measurable" snow here in Denver tonight and then be nice the rest of the week. Pike's Peak may not be advisable, it will be below freezing at the top in the middle of the day, that's if the road is even open. Mid elevations in the mountains have been getting dusted the last couple days. Weather here is VERY unpredictable this time of year and varies greatly from region to region.

Raining now and might turn to light snow by morning but 70's are predicted for the weekend. Pikes Peak may be out of the picture though.

The mountains (west of the front range) were sunny & dry yesterday and that's supposed to continue over the next week. Gorgeous weather south of I70 in the mountains. No snow anywhere except at the top of Pikes Peak. 50 to Salida bone dry. SJ Ron

Pretty chilly in the mornings now. The air and ground aren't holding the heat much past sunset. It'll be freezing or around that at night in the mountains from now on. Mount Evans Rd. is closed from Summit Lake to the top for the season. Trail Ridge Rd. still open. A beautiful time to ride in Colorado, but be prepared.

Spent the day in Breckenridge. Incredible day! Highs in the mid-60's, no wind...wishing at the time that I had ridden the bike instead of the car. The first cold snap is being followed by a great Indian Summer.
