Are the 14-15 CVO clutch mastercylinders failing. Have you guys had recalls for the socalled failures?

Have 5 k on mine. . No issues or a recall notice

 

Did a check on HD's website and put my vin in. I already had the o-ring replaced in the master cylinder but now I have the recall for having the master cylinder rebuilt. I have an appt on May 9th to get it done on the 14 CVO Road King. I've never had a problem but not going to wait.

 

Ok thank you, it was my understanding the CVOs were not have the clutch issues.

 

I believe it's more about build date than model

 

Yes Sir, do you have chrome or black controls and master cylinder?

 

All black.

 

Anyone confirm there chrome controls were recalled?

 

So far, the only ones I know that have had the recall were black controls.

 

My bike has the chrome controls and was subject to the clutch recall last year. They rebuilt the master cylinder while I waited....piece of cake. According to Harley's website, my bike is not subject to the current recall.
