Default 2015 CVO Grip Issues

I just got my bike out of the shop today. 5K miles and the rubber inserts on both grips had begun delaminating and were falling off. Anyone else heard or had this issue? 5K miles seems a little early for that.

I haven't had that problem and I've got over 8500 miles now. I did have the right grip cap fall off somewhere. Only cost $17 to fix, but annoyed me pretty good.

Have you shown your dealer? Warranty replacement?

Yes, the dealership warrantied the grips. They say they have never seen or heard of that issue before, but in the sceme of things, they don't see that many bikes, so I thought I'd as on here.

Just noticed this happening to my left grip a couple days ago. Haven't had time to contact the dealer yet, but i've only got 3000km, or 1864 miles on mine so far.

Hopefully they honor yours even though it's a few years old. They took care of mine with no questions.

Default rubber is peeling

Both sides has started to come unglued on my 2015 flhxse. Haven't had it to the dealership yet but I'm not surprised that others are having trouble also! I think my gloves are catching the corner and pulling the rubber lose!

Going back in today for my second set of replacement grips in 6500 miles. I've asked that they give me the '14 grips after pointing out that a brand new on the showroom floor '15 had the grips peeling just like mine. I think they're starting to realize that there just might be a problem there.
