Default Inner Primary to Case O-Ring

My parts book tells me to use a 11147 o-ring for this. I'd like to know if there is something thicker out there. My inner primary is a bit beat up around the sealing edges. ('82 - '84 FLT/FXR) Thanks!

glue the shovel o ring - the evo o ring is thicker and if you try and squeeze it in it WILL brake the engine cases lip and crack it almost all the way around -- every once in a while we see that come to the shop - 600 to fix it with the cases in hand

Use the stock oring but a good smear of Permatex Ultra Gray in the groove also and let it sit overnight to set up. Leak issue over.

I've been fitting the inner to the outer without one forever and just use RTV silicone in the area. I never could get them to work as I wanted them and they would always come loose and end up leaking anyway..
