Default 1982 fxrs

So I've been looking for a pre 1978 iron head sportser for a project but have had no luck! Came across this 82 fxrs , I haven't seen it in person yet , but guy said it has been sitting for years , squirted carb cleaner in it and it fired up and sounds good. I was thinking I would offer 1500$ for if it looks ok . Opinions?

I'd buy that. Clean title? Numbers match? Yes? Where's my trailer?
In some ways I wish that I had found one in that condition ( and price ), rather than my current 83. But, I do love my 83, so no complaints here.
Good luck!

So did you purchase? I'd love to find something like that around here. Great price.
