Default Quick release on vintage hard bags?

I just picked up some hard bags (supposedly were on an early Super Glide) and want too mount them on my 72 SG.
Has anyone come up with a way to use quick release hardware on old bags?
Thanks

They were always quick release. They snapped to the lower mount and the top mount was held by two rotating flat catches.

I ain't never heard of No Bags on a Superglide... Not from the MoCo anyway...
I used Sportster Bags on our SG, with Longer fender bolts and double nuts... 4 Nuts and gone, Frame and all... if ya don't mind keeping the Frame... then yes, they always were Quick release bags as stated above
Aint gonna have Complete Quick release no matter with that Rear "bar" and those Rails!!!!

There is a bit smoother and less bulky mounting for the bags If I remember correctly the part number is 90877-63 ... There is also a "hoop" ( a piece of steel that runs from one bag mounting bracket to the other bracket which is bent to go around the tire. That "hoop" offers a bit of structural rigidity.

They look similar to this.

Of course the pictures are not to scale
