Default need help identifying my new motorcycle?

Hey everyone,I'm new here and I just got my first harley. It has a couple issues but I am a mechanic so that isn't a problem. But I can't find real concrete information on it. It's definitely a 1981 HD,and I think it's a flh electra glide? What is confusing me is there is words on the front that says "super glide" and I cannot find any information on what the letters such as flh stand for. Should be an easy enough question for everyone on here! Please and thanks !

because it has lived in the USA it could have 100s or parts that it did not come with from the factory, it is not uncommon to have a good blend as that is what people do make it what they want not what anyone else has so to speak

take a 1/2 dozen pictures around the bike and post up the vin WITH OUT THE 5 center numbers as the first letters / numbers and last couple will tell exactly what is was originally

the guys on this site will pick out all that still exists and what has been replaced

So based on the website it says it's an fxef. Is that the fat Bob ones that the Google searches show up with it?

yes - the last F is for 'fat'. Since you are new - the first F is for full size frame (not sportster), the X is for superglide or any of the similar (non-touring) styles, and the E is for electric start.
