Default Cateye Dash Wiring On A Alternator Shovelhead

Looking to see if anybody has wired up the dash lights on one of these cateye dash's before & how, any pictures etc...

It appears these cateye dash kits for shovelheads don't come with any instructions; so now that I am past getting it to fit right, I am looking to see how I should wire it on a alternator shovelhead...

A picture is worth a thousand words as the saying goes if anybody has any...

I am pretty sure I should put the speedo light to an accessories terminal on the ignition switch, but I am not sure what to do with the Green & Red lights...

thanks in advance.

the green can be the netural or the hi beam what ever you choose you will need to plus one wire as the fuction is working and the the other is going to ground -

the Red is the oil light the blocks oil light switch is the ground and plus 12 volts into the other

you didnot have a helping hand in what year the bike is and or if you even had a factory wire diagram for what ever it is your working on -- helps to know this to give a to the point answer
