Question Performance upgrades to "88" motor?

I have an '04 Super Glide with the "88" motor and carb. I have made the standard stage 1 air flow improvements with new AC, exhaust, and carb re-jet.
Other than this, are there any other motor upgrades that would be worth the cost to gain decent performance improvements? If I won't notice a significant improvement in HP and torque, I don't know if I want to put any more money in this bike. Are there any other performance upgrades that you would consider essential with this motor?

I may just save money for a different bike one day in the future with a larger motor. With that said, I don't know how long I will have this bike or when I may be able to afford a newer one. I may as well get ready to sign divorce papers if I were to get a new bike any time soon. My wife would absolutely flip out.

Bump it up to the 95" kit.

This is all new to me so please forgive my ignorance. What would be a ballpark price for the 95" big bore kit and new performance cams - parts & labor? I'd have it done at my Indy here locally. They charge $75/Hr labor. I know that price can vary depending on what brand/manufacturer, but I'm just wondering about a price range or budget to be thinking about.

Yes, I just didn't know what difference they would make by themselves if that is all I did in terms of actual or perceived performance gains.

Anyone want to recommend some good cams for low end torque and HP? I'm thinking off the line acceleration.

If I were to do it again, I would not do the 95" upgrade. For me, the improvement didn't justify the cost and work involved. Did this to my 2001 RK, and I would not do it on my 2000 Softail.
I would just stick with cams and a properly tuned carb, maybe even a Killler Carb. JMHO.

With cams and headwork you will definitely notice a big bump in power.

Mine went from 88 CI to 95CI with 10.25 to 1 pistons, performance heads with race springs, oversized valves, 575 lift Fueling Ripper cams, roller lifts, HD Supertuner....needed more air so upgraded to a HD Heavy Breather, BCT baffles and lost the factory baffles.

tech how put it together a few years back and rode it last year claims it would tear up his in his FB with about $8000 in the motor.
