Honestly, he should be applauded for his honesty. What he is telling you is that the exhaust makes it pretty much impossible to tune accurately due to the turbulence of the exhaust around the O2 sensors, which creates an inaccurate reading. He's trying to help rather than give you a "I can't help you" response. Don't run someone down for being honest.

I'm sure you know that tuning a pipe like that for WOT racing use is way different than what needs to be done for a street bike. So you found out that the FP3 has limitations and is not as flexible as other tuners. V&H is not the be all and end all of aftermarket parts, unlike what a lot of riders think. Since your buddy has his exhaust running right with the PV I suggest you go the same way. Or get a TTS or ThunderMax. Any of those are way more capable than the fuelpak.

The Ak pipes are a pita to tune. I know that from personal experience.. The reply sounds like 2 guys talking... I don't see the issue..
