2016 Ultra Limited Audio Upgrade
Captain's log 2/22/17:
Ok, so my upgrade is in progress. Have all necessary parts/supplies. Doing the install a bit at a time. Had previously installed a BT4180, BOC, and LLs that I bought from forum members.
Today, installed the AD CX62s in the rear tour pak pods. Used the Hog Tunes grills and 1/2 spacer rings from eBay.
Turned the scoot on and faded to rear, damn what a difference. The stock speakers could not handle any sort of bass. The AD CX62s sound fantastic, at least in my garage/office. Too windy today and next several days to take it outside for a preview.
Plan on tackling the fronts next, tomorrow and this weekend starting with mounting the BT30 tweeters on the hot tunes grills for the front and covering it with treated speaker cloth.
Question for the gurus: I did not wrap the rear grills in treated speaker cloth. Should I?

It never hurts to provide extra protection for these electronic devices so if you can find a nice clean way to cover the rears I would. If it looks like shix, just roll without the covers cause if I'm not mistaken those ADs were the ones that sat in a fish bowl for 24 hours and came out screaming.

ok, finally had a chance to take a ride yesterday and listen to the fully installed system. I love it. Clear at 80mph, LOUD in the parking lot. I am happy with it, though I do need to check the LLs as I bought them used and want to be sure they are still set at defaults (I should have done this before I finished but...).
BT4180 amp
Front- DD AW 6.5/BT30 tweeters

Front speakers only:

Thanks to everyone on this forum, both those that replied to my questions in this thread and for those that posted up their own installs which I used as a guide. A big thanks to Haze for the recommendation on these great speakers.
