Default Did you cut your levers?

I can't seem to find a decent pair of short levers for the brake and the clutch. has anybody got theirs and can give me some tips on how to go about it? seems like if I got the black ones it's going to have some paint problems and I'm going to have to repaint.
Much appreciated

Don't cut them.. Unless you clean the edges up. Even then, have you ever seen a lever go through someone's hand?? Not pretty. The rounded ends are there for a reason.

.....have you? Never really thought about it until now but then again I don't know why anyone would want to cut their levers anyway. Either way....ugh.

Mainly looks but I'm also used to really short levels from mtb. Using only 1 finger to brake.

I dunno man I feel like that would be uncomfortable. But that's just my opinion.

Can't think of a good reason to cut the protective ends off. Then again, I'm the guy that removed the blade guard to my circular saw...🤔
