I have LA chopper 187 pipes with no baffles and I love how loud they are. Sometimes I get people plugging there ears when I pass by it always makes me laugh.

I'm running V&H Super Radius on my Fatboy Lo with the baffles out and can't get enough of em. Low, loud and great performance through all the gears. A little girl was getting into a car the other day about a hundred feet away and when I started my bike up she let out a squeal and jumped into her car with her hands over her ears. Mom's look 'bout melted my face off but it sure was funny.

I'm running a Bassani 2 n2 1 and it offers the best solution to the being too loud thing. At idle it is deep and throaty, but not loud. Cruising down the road at 55 to 60, the old lady and I can talk with each other(heritage with windshield). Different deal when you light it up!Great sound and awesome acceleration. Much louder but still very good sound. The installation of this pipe, the ness a/c and tuner transformed this bike. It's a true sleeper.

Had Samson Big Guns on my 2000 Road King and I loved em. Broke a baffle and replaced them with V&H Big Shots (or Long Shots?) because I installed Long Shots on my wife's Deluxe and they sounded great! They had a totally different sound on my King (motor mods? ) way to sharp and a higher pitch, even with the quite baffles they hurt my ears and anyone riding behind me. Finally replaced them with Rineharts and they are just right... Great sound and just loud enough.

I love my V&H Big shots staggered. They are not too bad pulling out of the driveway. There is a car on the street, that gets it's alarm set off by a couple of loud 4x4 trucks that pass by. If I stay off the gas, I won't set off the alarm when I go by. I try to be a good neighbor.

Now when I DO get on the gas... The alarm goes off and the neighbor hood kids run scared.

I have Rush slip-on's but I do switch back and forth with stock. I like the stock in the fall and through the winter. Summer when a lot more bikes are out I usually switch back to louder pipes. I do just get tired of all the noise.

That's cool and all, and I have pretty loud pipes on my bikes, but pizzing off the neighbors is a really good formula for ever-increasing legislation and enforcement of reduced sound levels.

In other words, people like you who pizz off their neighbors make it harder on all of us.
Ever take a moment to think about stuff like that?
