I have a 97 Fatboy. I have been noticing that my blinkers (either turning left or right) will only blink about 8 times then quit. If i restart the blinker, it might stay blinking longer. So, If i am at a redlight turning left. I hit the left blinker. that blinker will blink about 8 times then stop. same if I do the other. Not a big issue sometimes but could be a little problem in some situatuions if i dont restart the blinker. So question is, what could be this issue or is it one? Sorry for the odd, kinda dumb question. Had this bike for a year. Love it. Not a New rider but 1 year new to HD's. Thanks for any input.

 

Probably they are self canceling. My 97 FSXTS does the same thing.
