Default Installing Shotgun if you have lowering collars.

Just a quick note for any potential Shotgun buyers. If you use the lowering collars on your bike remove them first. That is all.

Did you get it installed? Takes some getting used to but it's a vast improvement!

Quick question....If you install the shotgun shocks, don't you replace the entire existing shock set up? I have lowering collars on mine for the time being.

Yes. It would have been about a 2-3 hour job but I wasted an hour or so trying to get the right side shoulder bolt off. Once I removed the collars I could finally get my wrench on the bolt. So far I am loving it after 800 miles this past weekend.

I got my SS on about a month ago and I'm loving it It's strange how smooth the back end rides over bumps.
