Well I'm glad I typed that up then!

Did you buy pre-wired bars or are you going to wire them? If you're going to wire them be sure and cut your wires diagonally so that you have room to fit the heat shrink in the bars, if you cut them all at one place there's a huge lump in the bars and it won't allow you to draw the wires through.

I bought pre-wired 16" bars from Hill Country Cycles - they came with chrome housings I wanted and the proper length clutch and brake lines. Made the job super easy. 16" was perfect for me, I'm 5'10" and they are at shoulder level. Any higher and my hands would go to sleep.

There are kits to help you extend the wires, google search for them if you don't go with pre-wired. And search youtube on how to extract the pins from your connectors if you wire yourself. It's easy once you learn the trick but the service manual doesn't describe it well and you may get frustrated. Once you get it you'll remember for the rest of your life like riding a bike.

How about some brass accents on that ride bro?
If I remember correctly NYC choppers has a lot of good parts for the bones.

Good luck with your install dude. I'm subscribing to see what you do.

Adding brass would be great, just finding the right parts.

Ain't gotta get crazy with the brass. Bolts and legs are a good way to start. Those are easy to find.

Gas caps, oil caps. Then if you're feeling froggy you can do something like this with the timer cover and the covers on the jugs.

I like the brass lines. I may add them, maybe some pegs, or hand grips. Brass spoke nipples, stuff like that.
