It's pouring rain, I just returned with a 09 crossbones. And I'm looking to make it mine. It's not stock, except for the tank, and front fender.
I'm getting ready to order bars, as I don't care for the 10" mini apes. I'll post pics when it drys up. Anyway, this is a boring thread, but it will brighten up, as the mods starting piling on. Here's what I'm thinking about adding, bdl open belt drive, heritage fender, paint, bars, and ww tires. If you know of any other cool things, that I don't know about, please share. Thanks.
heritage front or rear fender.. rear wont fit only a fatboy rear will fit.. as for the front fender .. if your talking about the heritage springer fender , it is expensive look for springer classic which is same damn thing without the heritage springer BS humongous price tag ive done both on mine .. I live in bc Canada which is a rain forest the stock bobber fenders weren't working for me .. full fenders are awesome in the rain.. imo open belt drives are loud and not reliable.. I have a few buddies with them.. the only time we have ever been delayed due to a loss of drive its only been the open belts.. lots of maintenance for no real gain.. im sure some will argue .. of the 3 guys I know with them 2 have gone back to stock and are selling their OBD systems.. just my .02

Thanks for the heads up! I'll look for a heritage classic springer fender. I know about the fat boy rear fender, but there is an aftermarket rear, that I kind of like, so I may just leave it. I had a bdl on my 2010 fat boy lo. I never had any problems with it.
