Default Help identifying a part - '95 Hertiage Softail

hello everyone, its been awhile since i've been on here and on my bike. Due to some career changes and priorities I haven't rode my bike in about a year and a half. finally catching up on things and have some money to tune her up and get back on the road.

I recently went out and got a replacement battery as I needed a new one for some time and while installing it, i noticed a hole in 2 of the hoses that are along the side of the frame. Im clueless as to what they are (dont know my bike as much as id like, hopefully this will change this summer). Could you guys please help identify this part for me and and let me know if its something I can replace myself or will need a shop to look at. thanks for any help!

Look like vent tubes to me. Do they run to the fuel tank?

i think they are vapour lines, and possibly over fill drains from the filler hole?

they run under the tank. not a whole lot of space in my garage at the moment that will allow me to follow exactly where they go.

they should be in the manual under "emissions" or fuel pump hose routing....
