Question Riser and Drag Bars for Fatboy Lo

Really interested in changing out handle bars to drag bars. Read numerous threads about street slammers, burly bars and wild 1 chubby's but I am digging on a riser and drag bar combo rather than a one piece. I was thinking black risers and chrome 1.25" drag bar. Would 4" risers be enough to clear dash?

I have a set of chrome 1-1/4" Wild 1 Chubby Drag bars and when I installed them on my 02 Heritage with stock risers they hit the stock gas cap and stock fuel gauge, with that said I'd say the 4" risers would clear easily. They looked cool but I wanted to keep my stock Heritage risers and clamp so I ended up buying 1-1/4" black Wild 1 Chubby Knuckle Bars. They fit perfectly for the look I wanted.

Hey racerkvn-do you have any pics? I have been checking out these Buffalo T bars with 4" rise but I really like the two piece look with risers and bars separate.

Hey man, I do have pictures but I've been trying to post them and can't quite figure the *&$- out from photo bucket on my phone. I'll post up some pics in the morning from my shop computer.

I'm pretty sure you need to have a certain amount of posts before you can put up pictures.

Let me see if this works...

If they do post, I apologize, they are not very good pics, but if you want to see a certain view just let me know and I'll take a few more.

These are the knuckle bars.

Breakouts come with 1.25" drag bars. Might could find a cheap set of take offs. I switched bars but am keeping the stock ones or I'd offer mine. Breakout bars are black, though, not chrome.

Thanks man. I had pictures of the drag bars but must have deleted them. They looked good. I'm running the stock Heritage risers, I think they are 1.750" or 2". I'll have to double check.

My stock risers are 2" to the center of the bars. As I mentioned before, when I put the Wild 1 Chubby Drag Bars on it using the same 2" risers they hit the stock gas cap/stock fuel gauge, I think a 3" riser would've cleared although it may have been close and a 4" riser would clear with room to spare.
