Default New to forums, clutch issues

Hey guys new too the group. I have a 99 softail heritage custom. I have a question in regards to the clutch. Latley while riding and the bike gets warm the clutch lever loosing up and clutch is acting up. Have tightened the cable but eventually goes back to messing up until the bike cools down. While riding eventually it goes back to stiff again. Any ideas on why? Thanks for any info

Welcome from Maryland. Try taking the derby cover off and adjusting the actual clutch per the service manual. You will need to loosen the adjuster first.

Being a 99 you may need new clutch disks if they are worn out.
