Default Need recommendations on a pillion pad

I have a 2007 NT with a Heartland fender kit. Until last night I had a Butty Buddy seat I used for 2-up riding. I stuck the seat on, and went to pick up my friend. Seat was on there firm before I took off. I reached back a few times along the way. The third time I went to check it, it was gone. Turned around and found it just in time to watch an F-350 pulling a horse trailer run it over as I was walking to pick it up.

The BB worked well when someone was on it, but I don't think I'll be getting another one as it is a pain to carry and I obviously can't stick it on and go. I flat out refuse to pay $1000 for the Heartland kit; just not worth it in my opinion.

I'm looking at the square stick on pads from several vendors, some of which are more than I paid for the BB! Anyone have any recommendations on a pad that's affordable and comfortable? I ride solo most of the time, but want to have the option if I need to double up.

Thanks.

I have a 2012 Deluxe and run a danny grey solo seat most of the time, this lil gem comes in handy for in town rides.

I run a solo seat, always will. Need to run the kids around the block or hope some honey wants to ride 'B', should have kept fac setup or kept it handy. My 2 cents!

Yeah, I know. I put too much faith in those suction cups based on their past performance...

We strap ours to the passanger hand hold, on top of the pill pad, even when she's sitting on it. I know...it's not going anywhere with her on it. But if I ever put it on without her riding, I'd strap it down. Or take it apart and stick it in my saddlebag.

If it ever fell off or got stolen, for whatever reason, we'd have to get another one. She absolutely hates riding the "2x4" passanger seat on my old Blackline and my new Breakout.

I literally just purchased an Airhawk pillion pad from Amazon. It was $20 off with my prime membership and free 2 day shipping. Although I've never used one they have good reviews.
