Headlight Trim Ring part number

Headlight Trim Ring part number
I have a 2006 Softail Heritage. I purchased an HD Eagle Wing Logo headlight visor for my seven inch head light, part no. 67791-91T. The HD salesman said it would just slide in under the old headlight trim. It did, however, the headlight trim covered about one third of the visor wing logo. (the trim ring is about 3 inches wide) The catalog says this visor does not fit Accessory Headlamp Trim Rings (I told the salesman). Does anyone know the part number for the headlight trim ring that will work with the new visor? Thx

I have the same eagle wing visors on my 2012 Heritage and it fit perfectly under the stock trim ring. Either Harley changed the stock trim ring since 2006 or you don't have the stock trim ring. I may be mistaken but I don't believe the stock trim ring has changed much over the years. The same visors fit under the stock trim ring on my 1988 Heritage. The passing lamps required different trim rings to use the visors.
Here is a picture of mine. Does your headlight trim ring look like mine?

Trim ring
My headlight trim ring is at least twice as wide as the one on your bike, with less curvature, which is why it covers part of the visor. Yours looks just like the rings they have on the Harley-Davidson parts & accessories book, pages 760-671. I believe that my trim ring, part no. 69733-05, which is described as a visor style ring to recess the headlight into the housing, and acts as a traditional "eyebrow" design to the headlamp shell. I will look for the headlight ring that looks like yours. Thx.
