Hey Pioneer and Wndchsr how did you get yours to close at the bottom? I have a small gap at the bottom of the headlight ring. My driving lights and turn signal rings are all good though. The instructions recommended to loosen the OEM ring so the aftermarket ring can seat. I couldn't figure how to do that.

I got REALLY tired of looking at that gap at the bottom of my HD headlight visor, so I removed the stock ring and pitched it, lined the inside of the new visor with rubber weatherstripping to insulate it against the headlight mount, and tightened the screw. No gap here and no movement. Fits like a glove!!

Just loosen the factory trim ring via the small screw on the bottom.......Get your new trim ring on (make sure it goes around the lip of the factory ring) and slip a phillips screw driver in through the gap and tighten up your factory trim ring......Then tighten up the new trim ring.

Honestly I have put this style trim on my last three bikes and never had an issue with a gap. Each install was done as per the instructions and never had an issue. The last bike ('07 RKC) took a little more time but I was able to pull the gap together.

^^^There's the "secret" for proper trim ring fitment^^^

If you have a gap at the bottom...the new ring's not set properly "over" the factory ring. Goes together like a puzzle and if you look at it closely, you'll see how easy it is to miss this little detail.
