Default Need Exhaust Advice

Wanting to change the exhaust on my 2016 Heritage Softail Classic, and it is down to the Vance and Hines Big Radius 2 into 2, or the Basani Radial Sweepers. I have never had a Basani and was wondering if anyone had any input on either of these pipes. Thanks in advance!

Look at the big radius 2-1 pipes- looks great, and 2-1 will give improve the performance of your bike. Look at dyno numbers comparing 2-2 vs 2-1.

Unfortunately they do not make a 2 into 1 for my bike, yet

Bassani > V&H. Fit, finish, performance, chrome, ceramic coating and customer service are superior. I deal with this stuff every day at my shop and personally use Bassani exhaust on my bagger. I am not a huge fan of that style exhaust on a Heritage, but it is your bike and if that is what you like, go with Bassani.

What Basani do you use? Just not a big fan of the straight back pipes, like some curves

I use Bassani Power Curve Duals head pipes on my bagger. My HD Tech uses their Road Rage 2-1 system on his bagger. On a Heritage I prefer a more classic look and would run their fishtails. If you don't like that look I would run their Fire Flight pipes with the aggressive slash cuts. But like I said, your bike, your choice. I will caution that the Radial Sweepers you like are a bit of a challenge to tune due to the rear pipe big so much shorter than the front pipe. That being said, if you had both sets of pipes (Bassani and V&H) in front of you, you would find the quality of the Bassani pipes to be much better. Thicker heavier heat shields with better chrome and better welds. I hope this helps in your decision!

Thanks so much df. Like I said just not a big fan of the straight pipes and like the style of the two mentioned. Got me really thinking now about the Basani's

Also now considering the d&d fatcat 2:1, a bit more expensive though

IMO, a better choice than either mentioned before...
