Been reading some posts where people claim the new 16 Heritage bags will not sag because of the inserts Harley has added. Anyone know how true that is? I was ready to buy some Papabags inserts but would not need them if this is the case. Any information would be appreciated

 

I have a 16 Heritage and they appear like they will hold up well with the factory inserts, spend your money on other bike goodies:-).

Hell my '14 bags ain't saggin. Proper care of leather and keeping them out of the elements goes a long way. Weekly conditioning. I don't have $700+ to replace. And I need the room for stuffing for weekend trips. The mother ship came up with denim paint and blacked out bikes for the millennial lazies. I take care of my stuff. There is no substitute for real paint, chrome, and leather. Just my feelings at the moment while having a few beers and staring at her. Don't mean to offend anyone

 

I have a '13 and '14 Heritage. No sagging yet-but both bikes are in climate controlled garages 24/7/365 when not being ridden.

 

You take care of your stuff sir. And I'm sure if I walked by your bike I would stop and look at her and if you were present... I would comment on how good she looks. That's my instant satisfaction with all the hard work I put into my bike. As I'm sure it is with you

To the OP; why don't you just wait and see it they sag?
There's no reason to add a bag stiffener if you don't need it.
