00-06 softail rear pulley center diameter

Read the sticky...it's all in LA_Dog's write up right at the beginning. If you choose the correct pulley u don't need to care about the exact diameter.
#3
While pointing the OP to the sticky is valuable, why not also add that the register hole is 2-1/4" be it a 00 pulley or a 14 pulley.
#4
'Cause OP's question suggests that he hasn't read it yet....what might make him miss some other valuable information related to the swap

Thanks
Op has read the sticky in detail but just wanted to confirm register hole diameter before placing order for non returnable HD pulley 40447-01 the closest fit in style to cvo turbine wheels as unfortunately the turbine pulley is only available in 66T
This is the HD40447-01

I'm currently running the turbine pulley. I have been looking for an adequate alternative, too. Unfortunately couldn't find anything other than the one you posted either. Very limited choice on chromed HD 70T pulleys

here is a quick photoshop of 40447 on turbine wheel ..doednt look to bad think ill bite bullet and order as it has same hub id ad its 1.125" 70T and i may even get away with not using a spacer
with regards to the belt gaurds does anyone know if you can fit ones of a 00-06 softail with 70T pulley ?
can you use top belt gaurd without mods ?
i got chrome lwr gaurd can this be modded ?

In order to make the lower belt guard fit it most likely needs to be cut. I think that's what Jim did but he still had his plastic guard and not the chromed one.
The hassle with the rear belt guards plus the speedo calibration issue is what kept me from doing this mod so far.

I guess this was also discussed already in the sticky. Jim G. kept his guards with the larger diameter rear pulley. If I remember correctly the upper belt guard needs to be lifted slightly in the back. Therefore you might need to fab a small bracket with two holes to reach the necessary offset.

Thanks eagle ray
for Speedo cab I'm going to use a sim 1A from Dakota..I've already got a se tuner and bikes been dyno can't justify another tuner just to cab speedo.
As for guards I'm going to try 00-06 softail
Thinking about doing the labour myself however I don't have a workshop quality bike lift or the special tooling
I can get the tooling for 200aud and I got a simple bike lift but for another 300aud I can get a dealer to fit
