Default S series 110B bolt on upgrades

I'm looking for a couple of good bolt on performance upgrades for the 110B motor in the Softail S series. As it sits my fat boy S only has the Street Cannon slip-on's and no tune. I would like to go with a 2-into-1 exhaust and have it dyno tuned. Besides the exhaust and dyno tune is there any other worth while bolt ons? Not looking to do major motor work at this time such as heads, etc... Is there a better bolt in CAM then the SE255 for low to midrange? What about the High-Flow 58mm EFI Throttle Body? Would this be worth upgrading to? Or scratch all of this and go with the bolt on 117 kit down the road?

1st question is why does everyone need to do this? Is there someplace they need to be 1 second sooner? And to my knowledge most guys who really don't know much about tuning an engine actually end up hurting performance. However you sound like a smart guy since you've chosen a 2 into 1 this is a good way to go, you could also try the Screamin' Eagle Aircleaner and a lower gear ratio, good luck. My advice in the 117? You've already got one of the biggest/fastest engines on the market and to be frank your bike really doesn't look like a dragster, put your money in stocks and leave your engine alone! LOL

Stg1 with a good 2ihto1 exhaust and tune is a good way to go. If you are thinking of upgrading to a 117 or a cam the rush 2ihto1 would maximize the performance.

If you just want a better sounding exhaust a 2 into 2 would be good enough.

Already has a screamin' eagle hi flow ac so I think I'll just start with a 2-into-1 and a good tune.

I have a Fatboy S with a D&D fatcat 2 into 1 exhaust. I had the bike dyno tuned by my dealer with the screaming eagle race tuner.

The tune really woke the bike up and made a HUGE difference over the stock tune with some RC components slip ons. I gained + 13 hp and + 14 tq (91/107) at the tires plus tons of hp and torque from 2000 to 4500 rpm. The bike now screams. I pass in 6th gear and don't even downshift when on the interstate.

Harley doesn't sell the race tuner anymore (EPA BS) but there are similar tuners out there. The tuner and 4 hours dyno time cost about $800.

Which baffle do you have in your fatcat?

I would suggest getting a D&D Fat Cat exhaust with the perforated wrapped baffle. It will be loud! This is the pipe I am running on my 117" softail and it is making a 123/126...

There is not really any other bolt-ons that are going to make much more power. A larger throttle body will give a few more up top but sacrifice some down low. Headwork and cams will make your bike fly, but they are not in the bolt on realm.

Sounds like the consensus is a 2-into-1 and a good tune. Thanks all for the replies! I'll scratch the idea of cams and throttle body for now.
