Default Wiring

Have the W0501 Bars and was wondering ifanyone have these on a 07 NightTrain? And do you need longer cables for the install or can you use the original wiring? Thanks in advance!

Yes...I have those bars on my '07 night train and the wiring needed to be lengthened. Also, the throttle and clutch cables needed to be replaced with slightly longer ones. If you don't want the hassle or expense of new cables there are other bars similar that can use the stock cables. I mounted these bars up twice trying to get the stock cables to fit and they were just shy.

How much longer would I need 2" or 4 inches over stock?

Thanks

I have the WO500's, 6" rise. I was ok with all the stock cables and wires, but it was close to at it's limit.
