Are the Springer bags with fringe available anywhere? I would like to get a pair for my Deluxe....

 

I'm sure you could order some from your dealer, but I would check on eBay.

 

They are discontinued from Harley. Your only hope is probably Ebay but be prepared to pay a high price especially for the fringe ones. I picked up a set off Ebay about a year ago for $350 but without fringe but were off a 2003 in Mint shape. I got lucky but most of the time they go for over $500.

Not sure what year your Deluxe is but if it's an 06 or below the bags won't fit without some changes to your bikes rear fender rails and changing the stock pipes.

Fring bags are from 97-99. I found my at 4-Corners HD in NM. Ask your dealer to run a search. A few will have them in their inventory. Careful with the piping color. They have red, blue, and the hardest to find, black. Also, don't expect them to hold much. They are decievingly small.

 

I just saw 2 sets on eBay a few days ago.

 

Thanks for the info, guys....I'll keep checking EBay andsee what my local dealer can do for me.....my Deluxe is a 07.....I would be willing to change the stock pipes and the attachment setup becauseI reallylike the look of those bags.....too bad Harley discontinued them......I think they would sell quite a few if they brought them back.....the whole 'retro' thing....

 

Ive seen the springer bags w/o fringe on a deluxe & they lookd AWESOME! It might be because im not big on fringe, but to each his own, They are the ones on my bike

BTW, if you want the springer bags, you will need to drillyour struts to make them fit.
