Rocker VS NightTrain

Rocker VS NightTrain
Hey Guys....Looking for input here....
I put a deposit on a 2008 Rocker C just a month ago. But not having seen the bike nor driven it is making me very nervous on such a large purchase. I have however driven the NightTrain and loved it's ride and seating position perfectly but just resented the amount of money I need to put into it to make it look the way I wanted it to.
So I guess what the question is, Did anyone ride a Rocker? A lot of people say it will ride like a Deuce because it's almost the same? If so, how does the Deuce ride compared to the NightTrain?
Any input here would be great...

RE: Rocker VS NightTrain
Most reviewers say that The MOCO has done a good job of matching up the
rear 240 and the increased rake of the front end to give the Rocker very good
handeling. As far as the "RIDE" is concerned they are all softails and for best
results get rid of the stock suspension. You may have trouble getting
aftermarket parts for the Rocker for some time. I had a deposit on one
as well but could not wait so I built this out of a 2007 "Train"

RE: Rocker VS NightTrain
...For a few short weeks, maybe.
You know which one's better???
The one that best suites you. You don't want to spend the money on 'choppin' the 'Train... Hold out for the Rocker... You don't wanna wait for a Rocker... Get the Train.
In the end, nothing any of us say is going to be any kind of new news to you, and none of it should sway your opinion.

RE: Rocker VS NightTrain
The great thing about a Harley is that you get sick of your look, you can re-invent your bike into a totally differentmachine veryeasily.
It just costs money...
The downside of the Rocker is that, like the Deuce, that 1000's of parts for a change-over may not be as easily available at it is with the Train/FX/FL bikes.

RE: Rocker VS NightTrain
Since most all who have ordered a Rocker have never actually ridden one, how do you know you are going to like the ride, the feel, seat position etc. Some of you guys are so willing to spend your 20 grand plus, on a ride you know little to nothing about, other than how it looks, and what (little) the MoCo is telling you.
To each his own, but IMHO, I wouldent spend my cash on any bikeunless I can ride it first.
Buy the train!

RE: Rocker VS NightTrain
finally saw the Rockers in-person @ NY Bike show yesterday..very sharp. as far as a comparison w/Train..??...Rockers are more of a "pretty" bike, Train's are more bad azz...but that's my .02.
gotta get what you like, as you've mentioned, it's a large investment.
good luck!
