Default Blinker Trim rings

Hi All

This is my first post i just picked upa 05 Deluxe. I bought a set of the smoked lens trim rings for the front and rear blinkers. I can't seem to get them too fit, it seems like the tabs on the new ring don't go in far enough to reach the groove in the blinker housing. Dealer says they are the right ones. Anyone else ever have this problem?

Thanks
Bill

If I'm understanding your question, make sure you're following the installation instructions - if you're trying to push the trim ring on by the edges, it won't lock in place. I believe the instructions say to lock it in place by pressing on the center of the lense - it makes a difference. Then, I think it will lock in place. At least that was my experience when I was installing them without reading the instructions first.

Took me about 20 minutes to figure that one out.
