Default Rinehart cross-back pipes...

Anybody got a close-up picof these pipes on their bike?? I was interested in a set, but from the pics I can find, there seems to be a gap between the heat shield and the muffler.

I have a bud, that has the V&H longshots on his 03 Dyna, and the gap on his pipes looks terrible! I have the V&H big radius longshots on my bike...but, the heat shield is all 1pc., so there are no gaps!!

Anyone?

I had a set mounted on my bike, but it's still at the dealer in storage. I haven't even seen them yet.
Sorry I can't help, but this vid should give you an idea..

Thanks for the pics...bet "she" sounds mean....couple of questions for you...

1. Where the pipes cross over each other, I would think extra heat would be generated in that spot, notice any additional heat on your leg or blueing of the pipe??

2. Where the black part of the muffler meets the chrome heat shield, do you notice any noticable gap??

I really like the look of these pipes...and I know you can't go wrong with the sound of rineharts...
