Anybody using the L.A.F. pipes on their 2008 softails. I want the loudest sound possible.

Don't know what L.A.F. pipes are, but if you want loud, I went with Vance & Hines short shots staggered. LOUD.

 

especially with no baffles.........ear splitting

 

I think L.A.F are the loudest, there's fvck all in them things.

The word 'baffle' is not in their dictionary [8D]

A buddy of mine is running the BBC Venom pipes. They are way louder than mine V&H SSS.

I'veTried them on my 05' Train their loud of course and blow a blue flame out of the shorter of the
two pipse but you can only see the flame at night everytime you slack throtle to shift (poff) a
flame shots out cool looking but probnot to good for the motor my advise save your money
hard to jet and tune for every day rider. Loud as F*** is right though loud (blap blap) but the sound has no tone (no soul) just loud, save your money but if you wanna try 'em you can always sell them after to some sucker thats wants to have the loudest bike on his street.
Trust me I've tried them buy some rineharts instead

I agree with Story.
Short, stubby,loud pipes are just that. They have no soul, just blat...
Personally, I've yet to hear a better sounding exhaust than Rineharts.
My Vance & Hines are in the rafters, and a set of Cross Backs took their place.

 

Keep those V&H GeorgeC, I gotta say they soung great to and they'll hear you coming with those
big rad's!
