Perhaps a second bike would be in order?
Well I stumbled on to what appears to be a screaming deal. I will have to wait to see if all the pieces fall in place, but it looks like I might get a 04 Ultra as a second scoot. Bike has only 7000 miles, chrome 9 spoke wheels & gobs of other trimmings. I'll fill in the other details if the deal actually goes through.

Luxe-
Good luck with making this deal work - as a fellow Deluxe owner, would also love to have an Ultra for a second scoot! Can't wait to see what cool stuff you do to the Ultra - if anything like all the great customization to your Deluxe, I can't wait to see the pics!

Yeah, unfortunately lots of scams like that lately, it would seem.I've seen them for Beemers, Harleys, and even a '74 Dodge Challenger. The Challenger is the wife's dream car. (She had one when we first got together...) It was advertised for $4600. Junkyard scrap seems to go for more than that nowadays. I figured I'd take a chance, and send an e-mail, on the off chance there was someone out there that didn't realize what they had, and I'd score a deal. The minute I saw the photo, I knew it was BS. This thing was decked out, and showroom. (I was expecting to see one in rough condition...) Same idea, got to our eBay link, then do a Western Union money transfer. Car would arrive within 14 days.
I think they same people that believe there are millions of dollars waiting for them in a Nigerian bank, are the same ones that fall for this stuff. Sorry to hear it was crap. At least you realized it before money was invested. Makes one want to avoid eBay altogether! [:@]
