RE: front end shakin
Ihad this problem with my Heritage Springer a few years back and thought the worse, that it was possibly the neck bearings. All it turned out to be though was the front tire had unevenly worn and was causing the shaking at low to mid speeds. Thefixwas to add more air pressure and the problem was gone, so, it may be an air pressure problem you got there. I would suggest that you try this first. Hope this helps.

McMark,
I have had the same problem with my 97 Heritage.
Probably a slightly loose head. Make sure the steering head has grease and adjust the "fall away" - steering head bearing torque.
Mine will also shake when my rear tire is worn to the point of needingto be replaced and if I have loose spokes (doesn't apply to a soild wheel Fatboy).
