What kind of finish is on their black pipes ? is it ceramic or paint , or what. do they show marks and scratches easily.

Ceramic coated heat shield- very good quality too - I prefer them becasue the ceramic coated heat shield, in my opinion, has more longevity than a striaght ceramic coated pipe. Seen too many of the coated pipes rust over time. No problems re: scrathces with mine.

Still waiting on my Black Big Radius since December... Does anyone have them?
my local stealer says v&h delay, had to change ceramic powdercoaters or something, next date is March for availability, I guessI will be in Daytona without them, but I will be at the V&H booth asking questions...

"The new Vance & Hines Black Line of exhaust systems features full coverage heat shields coated with durable race-quality black ceramic. Contrasted with a signature chrome badge and end treatment." Not sure about the durability.

Trotter those look perfect on that Train. I have an 07 train, and was just about ready to purchase the black big radius, but now I have to think. I really like the short shots. How do they sound? My bike is still waiting in the garage 6 inches of snow here in Chicago yesterday.

tgbroom if your still waiting on the pipes I just saw them on ebay from eastern performances.
