Default how fast is your softail in the 1/4?

I have always been wondering about this. Does anyone ever take there softail to the strip? I am going to go with a buddy of mine on a test and tune night once the weather breaks and the track opens. But I wanted to see if any one had a time on theirs.

my will run a 1000 feet in 10.2 to a low of 9.99. that is the area of times that I ran last year at the drag strip in 1000 feet.

Let's see, my eyes are a watering, my knuckles are white, and I can't crap a 'mator seed. Yep, fast enough for me.

I'd have to agree with I cut 1, I leave the speed up to the rice cookers !!!

ha ha ,I expected alot of you guys to say that kind of thing. We are not talking about weaving through traffic and passing cars on the right. A drag strip is a tool just like a dyno, only more fun, you have never gone you are missing out

Renoa1 do you know what that translates to for 1320?

My Standard has been down the strip once and ran a 12.19. Not bad methinks.

ill be running mine some time at a T&T when i have it in stl, i think i could probably nab a low 12 w/ mine. Stock heads/cams just a 95" kit, pipes and intake. I think it feels faster than my trans am and that was cutting 12.80 with a bad clutch, but who knows. I know ive out ran a 600 carbed rice bike though (buddy wasnt to happy about that)
