Default DVD Fix Thy Hog

Anyone with experience using the DVD Fix Thy Hog that's advertised on the site and in American iron magazine? Is it worth the money? Or is it just a video of how to change your oil? Not that that is bad; everyone has to start somewhere; but is it useful for someone wh has modest wrenching skills.

I have the DVD Fix Thy Hog. I also have :

saved in my favorites. The Expert Village series of motorcycle maintenance is free and in my opinion just as good as Fix Thy Hog.

I appreciate your reply and the reference. Thanks. Almost moved to Punta Gorda back in 1995. Checked out a house that needed some work on a nice deep canal. They wanted 125K. Looked like it needed a new tile roof and all new interior from carpets to paint to kitchen etc. I said too much; let's go back to Boiling Springs, PA. I kick myself in the *** every time I think of that. Oh well...could woulda shoulda. But I do have three bikes to console myself.

I reviewed the Expert Village and it was a little too basic for me; I certainly appreciate your info especially when you said that the dvd was not as good as the expert village. You saved me some money! Thank you!

i think the Fix my Hog video series makes it extremely easy to do most any service on the bike. that, coupled with the service manual, you can't go wrong. they also have a bolt on video which i have not seen, and if its anything like the others, should be pretty good. i think its well worth the 40-50 bucks for it.

I purchased the Touring DVD and it is excellent. I do all my own maintenance and the DVD has taught many shortcuts and helpful info in doing the services. I am sure that the softail version is equally as good. I do know that the softail version does not cover the springer front end maintenance, which I was a little disappointed in.
