These 3M Harley kits are CAD designed and computer cut for exact form and fitment to your specific model Harley-Davidson and can be easily applied by most anyone.

Our .008 mil clear-coated urethane film composite with a pressure sensitive adhesive is designed to protect your bike’s finish from the damaging effects of rock chips, road debris and scuff markings.

This film is virtually invisible and requires no special maintenance of any kind. It will not yellow, crack, peel or delaminate ever! It will not harm your factory finish and can be removed without damaging your paint.

What about this stuff yellowing after a few months/years...how does it look on a black bike???

How does it look on a flat black bike? I'm assuming it makes it glossy.

 

great idea - but wondering how you apply to a fender / tank without getting tiny air bubbles trapped underneath. I would have difficulty applying something like this to a dead flat surface let alone a surface with many angles.

Looks like this was posted in the wrong section. Shouldn't it be in the vendor classifieds?

 

The 3M film doesn't yellow. There are different makers of film out there and different pricing structures fro the film. The cheaper the film, the poorer quality it is. I've been doing this for 13 years now and I've only had to replace 1 bra on a white BMW back in the day when 3M didn't have the UV protection in the film.
As far as being on a black bike, It looks good. I've got it on both my black Road Glide and Road King and its hardly noticable. Anyhow, If you have any questions, just pm me... link to the website is at the bottom if interested.
